The Greatest Damage is Done to our understanding of God when we Divorce the Crucifixion from the Resurrection

The greatest damage is done to our understanding of God when we divorce the Crucifixion from the Resurrection - when the comparison between creature and Creator is not made - when our contribution to the boiling pot of his baptism is viewed separately and independently from his contribution. It is akin to trying to divorce the light from the lightning bug. It does not work. It cannot be done. It kills both the light and the bug. "What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder" (Mark 10:9).
